The Atrium Group is a subsidiary of Arden Holdings Ltd. Atrium Underwriting Group Limited (Atrium) is a leading specialist insurer at Lloyd's of London. Our expertise is in managing and underwriting specialist insurance and reinsurance business exclusively at Lloyd's.

Atrium Underwriters Ltd manages Syndicate 609 and 570. Capital is provided by Arden and other third parties (Names), approximately 25%/75% respectively. For the 2012 Underwriting Year the two syndicates combine into Syndicate 609 – The Atrium Syndicate. Syndicate 570 will cease to trade beyond the 2011 year of account, but all the existing lines of business of the two Syndicates will continue to be written in the Merged Syndicate.

Both Syndicate 570 and Syndicate 609 are rated A (Excellent) by AM Best with stable outlook.

Operating at Lloyd’s

The Lloyd’s market is home to over 50 managing agents and over 80 syndicates, which offer an unrivalled concentration of specialist underwriting expertise and talent. The Lloyd's platform provides access to specialist business through its unique broker network in addition to additional reassurance to policyholders through its consistently strong security rating (A.M. Best, A (Excellent) and Standard and Poor's A+ (Strong))
