Atrium is a leader in the Accident and Health market. The account is written throughout the world and includes various classes including accident & sickness, credit cards, accidental death, creditor, travel, medical, aviation PA and sports PA. The book is made up of insurance and reinsurance business, written both under facilities and on a facultative basis.
We insure a broad spread of Airline and General Aviation Hull and Liability business. We also write space launch and in-orbit risks through the Atrium Space Insurance Consortium.
The syndicate writes a broad spread of marine property risks including hull all risks, hull total loss interests, building risks, ports, cable-laying operations, tows, mortgages interests and war risks. We are a market leader in all marine property classes.
Syndicate 609 writes an international portfolio of Fine, Art & Specie, Jewellers Block and Cash in Transit business alongside a marine based quality Cargo account.
Syndicate 609 writes a broad based book, leading insurance and reinsurance policies covering the third party liability exposures of corporations operating in the marine, energy, construction and transportation industry groups. The Syndicate actively supports the International Group of P&I Clubs.

Atrium writes primarily property insurance business throughout the UK and Internationally. The syndicate is a recognised lead of UK niche market business. It also insures International property risks as part of the Lloyd’s subscription market.
Syndicate 609 specialises in professional liability, both as a market leader and as part of the subscription market. Over the years the syndicate has developed many insurance products covering a broad spectrum of professions. Product development, particularly for Association members, remains a key attribute of the syndicate’s offerings. The syndicate's main focus is within the USA, but also underwrites international accounts.
Atrium is a recognised Lloyd's leader for MGA-sourced property and casualty insurance business. The portfolio includes both commercial and residential property, written predominantly in the US and Canada.
Syndicate 609 is a recognised lead on US casualty treaty business, with particular focus on workers compensation and casualty clash business. Client focus is toward small to medium size cedants. The syndicate also participates in certain medical malpractice and Lawyers Treaty facility reinsurance products.
Syndicate 609 writes Property Reinsurance predominantly from North America but also from most regions of the world. The account is essentially catastrophe and risk excess of loss with some proportional treaty. A selective book of retrocessional business is also written.

Syndicate 609 writes a worldwide offshore property book covering all participants in the exploration and production of oil and gas. Energy is a core class of the syndicate with coverage provided for physical damage, control of well, business interruption, construction of platforms, mobiles, pipelines, and onshore oil and gas processing.
The syndicate leads a large proportion of the world's Airlines and writes via a consortium on behalf of 609 together with six other Lloyd's syndicates. We are also a market leader for General Aviation business and seek to differentiate from our peers by offering a superior service to brokers and their clients.
The syndicate has a specialist Political Violence and Terrorism team writing a range of worldwide portfolio and stand alone risks with the emphasis being on a good spread of risk both in terms of industry and geographical spread. The account complements other classes in the syndicate but especially Energy, Cargo and Specie.
