Atrium Staff participate in the planting of ceramic poppies at the Tower of London, September 2014

Atrium staff members were delighted to have the opportunity to spend an afternoon at the Tower of London, assembling and planting ceramic poppies in the moat.

This activity – taking place daily until Remembrance Sunday - is in commemoration of the centenary of the start of the first World War, the 800,000 poppies that will be planted in total representing the number of lives lost on the front line.

Whilst not yet finished the effect created is already truly spectacular and it was our pleasure and privilege to be involved in a historic commemorative event.
