During 2017 Atrium colleagues participated in a vast range of volunteering, fundraising and charitable activities.

Educational Support, Mentoring & Language Coaching

We continued our regular volunteering commitment as Reading Partners to a group of Year 3 pupils at Olga Primary School in East London.

During 2017 Olga School completed a three year rebuild project, Atrium were pleased to donate funds to assist with outdoor learning facilities and in the travel cost assistance for offsite class visits.

As our relationship with the school continues to build it has been our pleasure to get more involved, presenting to pupils during their annual Science Week event, helping out on Sports Day, hosting the pupils at our offices for a Christmas Carol concert...

In addition to our support at Primary level, a number of colleagues have served as mentors to students and young adults either in or aiming for higher education or assistance with finding work, through application and CV advice.

During 2017 we continued our Charity of the Year initiative

We asked our colleagues to nominate causes that were important to them and then vote on the short list. For 2016/17 we chose to split our fundraising between the following three Charities:

Operation Christmas Child: We donated Christmas gift boxes to displaced and refugee children abroad, bringing some cheer to children aged between 2 and 14 years of age.

During 2017 we held two Volunteer Weeks offering colleagues the opportunity to work as a team or individually on a number of volunteering causes. See more of what we did by clicking on the Volunteer week pages above.
