Atrium appoints Hayley Budd to lead Innovation.

(02.02.2026) Atrium, the leading specialty insurer at Lloyd’s, today announced the appointment of Hayley Budd as Head of Innovation.  Hayley will take responsibility for leading innovation, working with Atrium’s market-leading underwriting teams to transform existing business lines to meet emerging customer needs. She will also identify and build new partnerships, opportunities and products to support the delivery of Atrium’s strategic transformation agenda.

The newly created role enables Atrium to leverage its market leading reputation for profitable underwriting to develop new products and solutions for the global (re)insurance market.

Hayley has over twenty years of experience in (re)insurance. She will join Atrium in Q3 from Apollo, ibott 1971, where she worked as Class Leader for Innovation. Prior to this, she worked at Swiss Re and Liberty Mutual Insurance.
