Atrium appoints James Lakin as Head of Outwards Reinsurance.

(16.03.26) Atrium, the leading specialty insurer at Lloyd’s, today announces the appointment of James Lakin as Head of Outwards Reinsurance.  In his new role, James will be responsible for the design and placement of Atrium’s outward reinsurance programmes.  He will ensure the reinsurance strategy remains aligned with Atrium’s risk appetite, capital objectives, and long-term profitability.

James joins Atrium from MS Amlin where he worked for 12 years in their reinsurance team, most recently as co-lead of Outwards Reinsurance.  Prior to this, he worked at QBE.
